Olympic Gear: 500mm Mirror Lens, Green Marker and Wine

During the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany, Toronto Star photographer Graham Bezant realized too late that he had been issued the wrong pass: a reporter’s pass, good for the press box, but not access to any of the photo pits. Unable to get it changed at the last minute, he improvised and colored in the required green diagonal strip with green markers and wine (to lighten the tone) purchased at a local supermarket.
