GENTEC LAUNCHES NEW SIGMA CANADA WEBSITE WITH “JOIN AND WIN” CONTEST
TORONTO, ON., October 14, 2010 – Gentec International proudly announces its new Sigma Canada website – www.SigmaCanada.ca – showcasing the lenses, cameras, filters and accessories from Sigma, the world’s leading independent lens manufacturer.
The new website will become a comprehensive resource for Sigma in Canada, with information easily accessed from a simple navigation bar at the top of the site. Awards and reviews, test results, press releases, and media coverage will be updated regularly. Upcoming events, including Sigma-sponsored training and events at Sigma retailers, will be posted on the Events Calendar. Marketing support materials are available, including high-resolution images, brochures, ads, and videos. The helpful Where to Buy page makes it easy to find the nearest Canadian retailer for any Sigma product. And the Accessory Corner offers a convenient way to find other photo accessories, including Roots and Optex camera bags, Black Rapid camera straps, and Gary Fong flash diffusers and accessories.
Sold through fine photo retailers across Canada, Sigma lenses are available for DSLR cameras from all major manufacturers and are favoured by photo enthusiasts and professionals alike. The goal of the new website is to provide these photographers, and others, with all the latest Sigma news and product information, plus a wealth of reference charts, photos, videos, and more. By joining the site, Sigma enthusiasts will receive product updates, promos and advance information as they are announced.
In addition to joining the site, photographers can also upload their photos taken with Sigma lenses and cameras. The Sigma User Gallery is an ideal forum for photographers to share their best images with others in the Sigma Canada community, as well as with other photographers visiting the site.
To demonstrate the exceptional quality of Sigma’s lenses, the Pro Gallery features photos taken by several Canadian professional photographers using a variety of Sigma lenses. In the coming months, more photographers will be presented in this section, and new photos will be added regularly from all the pros.
