Amazing uFlorida Lightning Photo

This amazing photo is not what you may think of at first, i.e. lightning striking an object. Instead, this is lightning created by the University of Florida Lightning Research Group Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. [I have never understood why electrical engineering is coupled with computer studies.] I guess this shows that we have a pretty good understanding of what lightning is?

And probably bolsters North Korea’s claim that their team lost to the USA in the Women’s World Cup run because lightning struck them! Tee, hi, hi…
