Ansel Adams – Photographer Pt 1 (1958)

Ansel Adams – Photographer Pt 1 (1958) records the life and work of Ansel Adams. The video dwells on his equipment, home, interests, and his attitude toward art, photography and life. We get a glimpse on how Adams worked. It’s amazing when you realize that the large fornat camera produced an upside down image and did someone complain about not being able to see the image on the LCD in strong sunlight? We today are spoilt indeed.

Perhaps music is the most expressive of the arts. However, as a photographer, I believe that creative photography, when practised in terms of its inherent quality, may also reveal endless horizons of meaning.
