Artist Draws Hero Dad With 3.2 Million Ink Dots

I’ve always thought artists were some of the most patient people on Earth. A stroke here, a stroke there, I would have called it done. But no, they persevere a little bit more in the corner, maybe a shade is just not right, thicken a line a bit more, add some subtlety to the color,… In this video, artist Miguel Endara sketches a picture of his hero, his Dad, then proceeds to “paint” it with exactly 3.2 million ink dots, one dot at a time. And in case you wonder how he came up with that number, he counted… recorded on camera.
