The first 28MP APS-C CMOS sensor to use a BSI structure. BSI gathers more light than conventional CMOS sensors and with more pixels, the NX1 records more detail without increasing noise beyond a conventional 20MP sensor.

Dust and splash resistant.

The NX1 is a cracking camera, and has many great features which helps with photographing wildlife. It is very quiet when taking a photo, making it less likely to disturb an animal. The screen on the back is stunning, crystal clear, and folds out allowing you to take photographs at unusual angles without getting too uncomfortable. Animals are often more active in the lower light, and the high ISO performance of the NX1 is great, making this much easier. But the best thing for me is the 15 frames per second the NX1 can capture! This is very fast, and allows you to choose a final image from a short burst where the animal may have a slightly different expression or nuance. It is often these little differences that make an image stand out from the rest!
