Women are underrepresented in the fields of science and technology, and BlackBerry and Alicia Keys have teamed up to change the odds.

The BlackBerry® Scholars Program is a global four-year scholarship program for outstanding women entering their first year of undergraduate study at an accredited college or university:

As BlackBerry Global Creative Director, Alicia Keys is encouraging women around the world to apply for the new BlackBerry Scholars Program, an initiative designed to inspire women globally to enter and develop careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The BlackBerry Scholars program is looking to recruit the best and brightest candidates who are interested in studying STEM.

To kick off the program, BlackBerry is offering full, four-year tuition scholarships to outstanding women globally who are seeking degrees at accredited colleges and universities in the areas of STEM with a particular interest or aptitude in the area of mobile computing.
