Digital Photo Professional 4 is a genuine, Canon-made application for browsing, selecting, and developing RAW images. It is equipped with various image adjustment functions in the Picture Style format and allows the user to make speedy image adjustments with freedom.
In July 2015, users of the Apple Support Communities reported the issue that Canon Digital Photo Professional 4.3.0 install fails under MacOS 10.10.5 .
Therefore, the newer update of the Digital Photo Professional is now the Digital Photo Professional 4.3.1 for Mac OS X:

Digital Photo Professional (DPP) is a high-performance RAW image processing, viewing and editing software for EOS digital cameras and PowerShot models with RAW capability. Using DPP you can easily perform basic and advanced editing and printing of RAW images. An example of the available editing functions are image rotation, white balance adjustment, dynamic-range adjustment, colour adjustment and fine-tuning of tone curve characteristics.
DPP supports sRGB, Adobe RGB, Wide Gamut RGB and Colour Management System (CMS) using the International Colour Consortium (ICC) Profile.
You can download the latest version of DPP or an update for your current version by selecting your product from the EOS camera or PowerShot range page. A helpful user manual for DPP is also available for download from the same location by selecting the manuals tab.
Digital Photo Professional is included in the initial software setup for your Canon camera.
