CANON CANADA PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR RED CROSS BRITISH COLUMBIA WILDFIRES APPEAL

BRAMPTON, ON., July 11, 2017 – Canon Canada Inc. has donated $15,000 (CAD) to the Canadian Red Cross to aid in the wildfires relief efforts underway in British Columbia. The donation will help provide immediate relief such as cots, blankets, family reunification and financial assistance for food, clothing and personal needs.

“It’s heartbreaking to hear that thousands of Canadians have evacuated their homes this week,” said Ted Egawa, President & CEO of Canon Canada. “We hope that Canon’s support for those impacted by the wildfires, including our dealers and customers who have been personally affected, will help both in the short term and also assist them to get back into their communities once it’s safe to return.”
