Canon G1 X Review @ CameraLabs

Canon PowerShot G1 X
Canon PowerShot G1 X

On the happy side is superb image quality [but] on the sad side is a fixed lens with terrible macro and little chance for a shallow depth-of-field, coupled with below-average continuous shooting from a camera that costs the same as many CSCs but lacks their interchangeable lens mounts.

We’ve added a new Canon G1 X [QuickPrice Check] review to our Reviews Matrix.

CameraLabs has posted their review of the Canon PowerShot G1 X, with 14.3MP resolution (1.5-in. CMOS), 4x wide-angle optical zoom (28-112mm equiv.), optical image stabilization, optical viewfinder, 3.0-in. Vari-angle LCD (922K dots), PASM modes, RAW, and Movie 1920×1080 @ 24fps.
