Canon will begin accepting entries for New Cosmos of Photography 2018 (41st edition) photo competition on April 18th.

The New Cosmos of Photography is Canon’s cultural support project to discover, nurture, and support new photographers who pursue new possibilities in creative photographic expression….

The New Cosmos of Photography encourages the creation of original works that push the boundaries of photography’s potential and systematically assists and nurtures award winners through exhibitions and published collections of their winning works as well as through publicity on the New Cosmos of Photography website….

We look forward to entries that provide a glimpse of tomorrow‘s photography.

Announcement of schedule to accept entry applications for New Cosmos of Photography 2018 (41st edition)

We are pleased to announce that we will begin accepting entries for New Cosmos of Photography 2018 (41st edition) photo competition on April 18.

The contest is open to photographers of all nationalities, ages, gender, and experience levels (professional or amateur) with no restrictions on size, mobility, number of entries, or other such details.
And, contestants can submit entries including both still images and videos online. Experimental works are welcome, and we encourage contestants to push the possibilities of creative photographic expression, while making full use of their individuality and sensibilities. We look forward to entries that provide a glimpse of tomorrow‘s photography.
