Canon will release the PowerShot V1 in late April 2025 in the Asia market only for now. The PowerShot V1 will be Canon’s flagship PowerShot V Series compact Vlog camera for still and video shooting. It features a 22-megapixel 1.4-type Type (18.4 x 12.2mm) CMOS sensor, a fixed F2.8-4.5 16-50mm (equiv.) 3.1x optical zoom lens, people and animals Eye Detection AF, Review Video shooting mode for product reviews and Image Stabilization Video shooting mode for handheld video shooting).
Advanced A+ scene mode automatically recognizes and supports difficult scenes such as night scenes and backlit scenes. Creative Filters scene mode allow for diorama and toy camera style shots.
The PowerShot V1 shoots 4K/30P and 4K/60P (1.4x crop) videos, and supports Canon Log 3. A built-in cooling fan is a first for a compact fixed lens Vlog camera.
Other features include a Vari-angle (fully articulated) LCD, mic and headphone sockets, and a windscreen.
