I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about how the image quality would be on this CMOS-based camera, but the PowerShot S100 delivers excellent results.

We’ve added another Canon PowerShot S100 [QuickPrice Check] Review to our Reviews Matrix.

DCRP (dcresource) has published his review of the Canon S100, with 12.1MP resolution (1/1.7-in CMOS), 5x ultra wide-angle optical zoom (24-120mm equiv.), optical Image Stabilization, bright f/2.0 maximum aperture, customizable Control Ring (around lens), large 3.0-in. LCD (461K-dot), PASM modes, Scene Modes, RAW, High Sensitivity System (ISO 6400), ND Filter, GPS, and Full HD 1080p Movie 1920 x 1080 @ 24fps with stereo sound, optical zooming during recording and high speed capture at 240fps (super slow motion playback).
