  • hi, i’ve a question. i just got this camera yesterday, i don’t know how to use the youtube video mode. when selected and i tried to press the shutter button, it say “movie scene, cannot be used for snaphots”.. 🙁
    pls help, thanks

  • The BEST SHOT YouTube scene mode is for recording a video that you want to later upload to YouTube (when you transfer your pictures from camera to computer).

To use it, select BEST SHOT YouTube scene mode, then press the dedicated movie button at the back of the camera to start recording a movie.

The difference between regular Movie and YouTube movie is that the latter is saved at a lower resolution and in a special folder to facilitate locating it for uploading to YouTube.

Maximum recording time for a YouTube movie is 10 min.
