Panasonic LEICA DG ELMARIT 200mm F2.8 POWER O.I.S

There are cases where auto focus does not work properly when Panasonic LEICA DG ELMARIT 200mm F2.8 POWER O.I.S. (H-ES200) and Panasonic LEICA DG VARIO-ELMARIT 50-200mm F2.8-4.0 ASPH.(H-ES50200) interchangeable lenses are used with certain Olympus Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras.

The latest firmware updates provide an improvement as follows:

Corrected issue of autofocus (AF) function not operating correctly when using the “H-ES200” and “H-ES50200” interchangeable lens produced by Panasonic.

You can add new functions and operability improvements by updating your E-M1 Mark II , E-M1 and E-M5 Mark II to the latest firmware version. Please update your camera to use these functions.

For updating the camera to the latest version, you are required to update the camera twice.
If the current version is 1.0 or 1.1:
First, update the camera to version 1.3, and then update to the latest version.
If the current version is 1.2:
First, update the camera to version 1.4, and then update to the latest version.Before updating the firmware, install the Digital Camera Updater from the CD-ROM that is packaged with the E-M5 or download the latest version of the Digital Camera Updater (Win: ver. 1.03 / Mac: ver. 1.04).
You cannot update the firmware if updating with the earlier version of the Digital Camera Updater.

*4	Do not disconnect the camera from the computer until the LCD on the camera displays OK. The firmware update is not complete until the camera displays OK. Disconnecting the camera before the firmware completes may render the camera inoperable.
