Chanel N°5 Ad Online

You know the Internet has started to surpass traditional media when the new Chanel No5 ad is premiered online instead of in newspapers, billboards or the TV. The ad, billed as a mini movie, is 2 min 20 sec. in length (with a shorter 60 sec. version also available) and features Audrey Tautou [ The Da Vinci Code and Amélie ]. And, oh yes, you can briefly see a Leica M8 in the ad and Audrey presses the right button to enlarge the playback picture.

Leica is running a Save over $1,000 promotion on Leica M8 upgrades. The Leica M8 White Edition is also now available [only 275 available].

With more and more DSLRs now sporting movie capability, I wonder if we will one day see a commercial ad shot on a DSLR with movie capability? That will really help DSLR sales!
