Dan Morris: The Complete Lightroom Workflow

Personally, all my pictures go into that big bin in the sky and I rummage until I find what I am looking for. Well, I do use file directories but as many will point out, it’s not an ideal filing system and you do have to remember where you saved that particular picture and why do I have two or more copies of it?

Well, if you use Lightroom, here’s some good news.

Dan Morris has shared his “The Complete Lightroom Workflow” [last year, and which we completely missed publishing]. This is basically the rating and labeling system he integrates into his Lightroom workflow. He uses the “pick flag”, ratings and color labels to sort photos into those that need to be archived, to be worked on, those that belong to clients, personal photos, etc. in a way that keep everything tidy, neat and logical.

Give it a try for it may end up saving you lots of time and aggravation looking for misplaced pictures.
