Disney’s purchase of Lucasfilm for $4B did not go unnoticed by fans of Star Wars worldwide. Someone else, on a Death Star far far away also noticed… and decided to pay Disneyland a visit.
The video is supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek celebration of the purchase… but the undertones are downright scary as Darth Vader and his minions patrol the Disney grounds, weapons in hand. After all, DV seems immensely pleased as he surveys his new dig. Is it because he’s changed by being in the happiest place in the Universe? Or, does he feel right at home and has Disney revealed its true face (the modified star wars theme at the end of the video sounds ominous)?
I mean, they could have featured Luke Skywalker and the Jedi visiting Disneyland…
Watch for the developments, folks, since Star Wars VII (due in theatres in 2015) may feature some new characters (after all there are lots of Disney Princesses in need of rescue).
