You’ve seen timelapse movies where the photographer zoomed the lens slowly. Now you can automate it using a do-it-yourself motor harvested from a meade ds-2000 autostar 494 or ‘Milapse’ system.
The first test looks pretty good (a slower zooming speed would probably give a smoother effect).
