We can only guess that Philosophy student Isak Gerson was probably so tired of being brandied a thief for his obsession about file-sharing that he founded The Church of Kopimism, which uses Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V (the keyboard shortcuts for Copy and Paste) as its sacred symbols. Also, Kopimi is the Swedish word for “Copy Me.” Sweden has officially recognized the church after the group formalized its way of praying. It apparently has only one commandment: “Copy and paste what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.”
So, file-sharing is now protected in Sweden as a religious right as long as you are a bonafide member of the Church of Kopimism. It’s only a matter of time before it acquires new disciples all over the world.
I suggest that one of the first thing it should copy is the song, “Knowing Me, Knowing You” from fellow Swedish band ABBA, and rename it “Copy Me, Copy You, Amen” with other appropriate lyrics changes.
