Fujifilm Exhibits at NAB Show 2018

FUJIFILM Corporation will exhibit at the NAB Show 2018, a trade show of broadcasting and cinema equipment, held in the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 9 to 12, 2018.
Fujifilm will be showcasing various zoom lenses made with cutting-edge optical technologies. The guests will have a hands on experience with our ever rapidly expanding 4K broadcast lenses and Emmy award*-winning cinema lenses. We are looking forward to you visiting our booth in the Central Hall, C7225:
1. Broadcast Lens
The UA Series is a broadcast lens series which is compatible with 2/3” 4K UHD cameras, and our most remarkable models are the “FUJINON UA24x7.8” and the “FUJINON UA107x8.4”.
The “FUJINON UA24x7.8” is a 4K compatible portable zoom lens that achieves both the world’s smallest and lightest** specifications for its type, with a total length of approx. 220.5mm and a total weight of approx. 1.98kg.
The “FUJINON UA107x8.4” is a 4K compatible broadcast zoom lens that achieves the world’s highest*** zoom ratio of 107x. Covering a wide range of focal lengths, from a best-in-class wide angle of 8.4mm to a super-telephoto range of 900mm, images can be shot at 4K resolution in a variety of applications, such as for sports broadcasting to concerts and live performances. Visitors can experience dynamic images with 4K resolution.

[Development Announcement] Fujifilm now has under development a 4K compatible broadcast portable zoom lens with a 46x zoom ratio, the world’s highest.*4. Fujifilm is now developing 2 types of 4K compatible broadcast portable zoom lenses, the “FUJINON UA46x9.5” and the “FUJINON UA46x13.5”. The standard “FUJINON UA46x9.5” zoom lens has a focal length of 9.5mm to 437mm, and the telephoto “FUJINON UA46x13.5” zoom lens has a focal length of 13.5mm to 621mm. These high-magnification zoom lenses are suitable for live production or aerial video. Fujifilm is expanding its 4K lens lineup to a total of 10 lenses by the addition of these 2 new types of 4K lenses.*4 For 4K portable-type zoom lenses compatible with 4K cameras for broadcast use with a 2/3-inch sensor. 2. Cinema Lens
Emmy award-winning FUJINON cinema lenses offered by Fujifilm have been used at movie / CM / TV production sites around the world for their advanced scene-depicting capability. The HK Series are the flagship models with their 4K- Plus optical performance and fast T-stops. The ZK Series and the XK Series are well known for high optical performance and comfortable operation featuring a detachable drive unit. The MK lenses deliver an ultra-compact and lightweight design and excellent cost performance.

3. Mirrorless Digital Cameras and FUJINON Interchangeable Lenses
At the FUJIFILM digital camera booth, visitors can touch and try the GFX system and X Series lineup of cameras and lenses, including the ultra-high image quality mirrorless medium format camera “FUJIFILM GFX 50S” and the new “FUJIFILM X-H1”, the first X Series model to include the latest 5-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS). The X-H1 is also the first camera in the X Series to include ETERNA mode, a new Film Simulation mode ideal for shooting movies. The mode emulates cinematic film, creating understated colors and rich shadow tones, greatly enhancing creative freedom during post-processing. Two MKX lenses will be on exhibit, the first full manual cinema lenses for X Series interchangeable cameras.
