Fujifilm Expands Artificial Intelligence (AI) Development Initiative with Entry in the U.S. Market: For Medical Imaging & Healthcare Informatics

The following video presents Artificial Intelligence Can Change the future of Medical Diagnosis | Shinjini Kundu | TEDxPittsburgh:
Medical diagnosis often is based on information visible from medical images. But what if machine learning and artificial intelligence could help our doctors gain more knowledge from medical images and therefore predict diseases earlier? New research indicates this is indeed possible, and the implications for preventive medicine and several disease types are large. Learn about it in this talk…

Fujifilm’s solutions can help radiologists:

  • Achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes
  • Provide fast and secure access to diagnostic images and patient-imaging data
  • Deliver patient comfort and satisfaction
  • Increase financial and workflow efficiencies
  • Improve patient safety

Fujifilm recently announced the expansion of its artificial intelligence (AI) development initiative with entry in the U.S. market.

  • Fujifilm will partner with its strategic customers in the U.S. market, to draw upon clinical insights and expertise in the field to bridge AI applications to imaging informatics solutions.

Fujifilm has broad experience in imaging science based on knowledge and expertise accumulated over the course of 70 years of developing image analysis and evaluation technologies. Our intention is to leverage that expertise in accelerating the delivery of powerful use cases to the AI platform we are developing.
