FUJIFILM ANNOUNCES THE EXPANSION OF THE LENS LINE-UP
FOR THE AWARD-WINNING X-PRO1 PREMIUM DIGITAL CAMERA
The release of new Fujinon XF lenses expands the potential of the
Fujifilm X-Pro1 premium digital camera to new photographic possibilities.
Mississauga, ON, June 27, 2012 – Fujifilm is proud to announce the expansion of the line-up of Fujinon XF lenses for the premium interchangeable lens camera, FUJIFILM X-Pro1. From super wide to telephoto, users will enjoy a wider range of photography with lenses that match their shooting style or purpose, letting them experience high-quality photography with the X-Pro1 in a variety of situations.
Two additional lenses in autumn 2012 and five unique lenses more in early 2013 for a total of 10 lenses in the line-up
Since Fujifilm’s X-Pro1 announcement in January 2012, Fujifilm has worked to develop new premium interchangeable lenses in response to user requests. In addition to the three existing single focal length XF lenses, Fujifilm will introduce a bright F2.8 super wide 14mm (21mm in 35mm equivalent) single focal length lens and a bright F2.8-4 zoom lens that covers the shooting range of 18mm to 55mm (27-83mm in 35mm equivalent) in autumn of 2012.
Another unique five lenses will be added in the line-up in early 2013, making the total to 10 lenses. Fujifilm will continue to develop lenses that cover a wide range of focal lengths and offer bright, high resolution reproduction even at the periphery, so that users can enjoy the high resolution of FUJIFILM X-Pro1.
