QUICKFACT SHEET

S is for Speed. The Fujifilm X-H2S is a 26.1MP pro-level APS-C mirrorless camera that can shoot up to 40fps with AF/AE in the most extreme conditions. It records 6.2K/30P video or 4K/60P for 2+ hrs (160 min.) or 4 hrs (with vertical battery grip VG-XH attached) without overheating, and if you snap on the external fan, it can record for as long as you need to. It is certified weather-resistant and will keep working even when the temperature drops down to a freezing -10°C / 14°F. It’s built tough and it’s built ergonomically with a large and comfortable grip. The build is pro-level and the handling is superb.

That’s not all. Pick it up and peer through its viewfinder and be amazed at the stunningly bright and large EVF. The EVF has a high 5.76M dots resolution., 0.8x (equiv.) magnification, and a fast 120fps refresh rate for blackout-free continuous shooting at 40fps. Need a deep buffer? The X-H2S can shoot over 1000 JPEG frames at 30fps. It also has 5-axis 7 stops IBIS for handheld shooting at slow shutter speeds without camera shake. Need to make sure you do not lose any shots? There are two card slots, one for a CFexpress Type B card and a second one for a SD UHS-II card, so you can save the same picture twice, once to each card. Need to shoot in tight spots? The 1.62M-dot LCD is fully articulating. The X-H2S is ideal for action, sports and wildlife photography.

For those of you who currently own an X-H1 and are thinking of upgrading to an X-H2S, do note that, unlike the X-H1 with its dedicated analog-style control dials, the X-H2S returns to using the more conventional DSLR mode dial. Also, the X-H2S swaps the X-H1’s 1.04M-dot 2-1/2-Way Tilt LCD with a 1.62M-dot fully-articulating Vari-angle LCD.

Fujifilm wants to position the X-H2S as the best APS-C hybrid still/video mirrorless camera. In fact, since Fujifilm does not make full-frame mirrorless cameras, it wants the X-H2S to compete directly with full-frame models with similar features.
