The Fujifilm X-M1 targets the beginner photographer desiring to upgrade to a traditional-mirrored DSLR and makes a convincing proposition to switch to a mirrorless DSLR instead. It retains the APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor that garnered high praises from professional photographers who judged its image quality as equivalent to, and even surpassing, that obtained with top-end DSLRs.
