According to Wikipedia, Richard M. Hollingshead, Jr. was a chemical company magnate who nailed screens to trees in his backyard. A Kodak projector on the hood of his car projected the movie onto the screens and a radio behind the screen provided the sound. And here me thought it was Clark Kent who first feted his sweetheart’s Lana Lang’s belated bday by projecting a Bugs Bunnie movie onto the side of his iconic barn.
