Photoxels

Greenpeace Activist Turned Photographer

From GreenpeaceVideo

Greenpeace was once considered a law breaking organization that used violence to protest environmental issues. It has since gained worldwide acceptance and prestige, and is celebrating 40 years of carrying on a good fight. Who can forget those flimsy rubber boats challenging huge tankers or whale hunting ships on the high seas? This video highlights one activist, Pierre Gleizes, who now toils as a photographer and who has shot some of Greenpeace’s best known images, changing and winning over public opinion one photo at a time.
