From PMarmottant

A Venus Flytrap is a slowpoke compared to the aquatic carnivorous bladderwort which catches its preys by literally sucking them in at ultra fast less-than-a-millisecond speed. This is so fast that scientists require a 240x high speed camera to study just how the plant achieves this feat.

This video captures the plant in action and also explains how it all works. Amazing!
