Shoot Stills and Movies with Hybrid Photo-Movie Head

Manfrotto Photo-Movie Head by Drew Gardner from Manfrotto on Vimeo.

In stills photography, we don’t want the camera to move. When shooting movies, we want smooth camera movement for that professional look (though, I have to admit there’s way too much of that lately and, if overdone, it gets distracting real fast). Up until now, this was not a problem since you’d have a tripod for your DSLR and one for your video camera. Now that more and more photographers are using their HD DSLR to also film videos, the problem of having a tripod head that can serve both purposes arise. Manfrotto provides a solution in the Photo-Movie Head combo, such as the Manfrotto 055 Hybrid Head Q5.
