Every piece of successful technology starts out somewhat as a fad, steadily gets traction, entrenches itself and then people wonder how they got along without it before that. So it is with the iPad — or tablet in general. So far, it is the Apple iPad that is leading the wide acceptance of tablets but it won’t be before long that tablets will be pervasive and used in every level of society for all sorts of things.
