iPhone 4 Captures Beautiful Guitar String Oscillations

From justkylevids

We just got my son’s guitar new strings and he learned how to change them and tune them at the store. But have you ever seen the guitar strings oscillate? Impossible you say without high speed video? How about with the iPhone 4?

I guess you could do this with any smartphone or camera (if you can slip it into the guitar, short of removing all the strings), but take a look. It’s beautiful (sort of)!

Someone should make a music video using this technique and with an appropriate background for the music, say a blue sky with coconut tree branches swaying in the wind?
