Sometimes you come upon a site that displays the type of photos that you like and seems too good to be true. This was my reaction when I happen to chance upon JPG magazine online. It was founded by Derek Powazek & Heather Powazek Champ and features some of the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen. I suspect why it works better than other online photo sharing sites is because you get to submit only one [therefore, your best] photo to a theme and the editors choose those to go into the magazine based on the community’s input.

Before you submit your pictures to any online site or Contest, read their Terms of Use carefully.
JPEG’s Terms of Use contain the following rules you should be aware of:
By uploading (or otherwise submitting) Submission(s) to the Services, you:
* grant to 8020 a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, limited license to use, publish, reproduce, display, distribute, use for Promotional Purposes (defined below), and sublicense for Cross-Promotional Purposes (defined below) such Submission(s), either through print, online, or other media (collectively, “Publicize”);
I like the “non-exclusive” and “limited” part but not the “perpetual” part.
