Mike Selsky wins a LEICA X VARIO & other cool prizes!

- This is an update to the previous blog, Leica X Vario City Challenge: Leica Photo Contest 2013 in New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles and Miami.
- Leica fans in four USA cities— New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles and Miami—were invited to shoot with a Leica X Vario for 4 hours during the City Challenge.
- Participants submitted their carefully chosen photo into the competition and fans voted for their favorite image from each city via Facebook.
- Leica would like to thank the following five acclaimed judges who decided on the ultimate Grand Prize Winner of the X Vario City Challenge:
- Miriam Leuchter (Popular Photography/American Photo),
- Marc Babej (Art Photographer & Columnist),
- Dan Havlik (PDN & Rangefinder),
- Stash (legendary street artist), and
- Roland Wolff (Leica’s VP of Marketing and Corporate Retail).
LEICA X VARIO
- The Grand Prize Winner for the Leica X Vario City Challenge receives a Leica X Vario camera (valued at $2,850), a private reception for friends and family at their local Leica store, a digital photo exhibit at their local Leica store, and a special guest series on the Leica blog in 2014.
- Leica announces Mike Selsky as the Grand Prize Winner of the X Vario City Challenge, an exciting Leica Camera photo competition that delighted photography fans across the country.
- Selsky is a photographer that shoots as much as he can, from technical landscapes to fashion.
- He enjoys the hunt for strange and obscure imagery in urban Los Angeles and frequents the deserts and forests of California, looking for interesting moments to capture.
- He hosts the photographic journal 2WK and is one part of DAAAF, a new design and photographic collective.
