Fotopark Challenge #BlueHour
It is the moment of inspiration for painters and poets, the romantic and the melancholic at heart – and for photographers: blue hour. The moment when the sun sinks slowly beneath the horizon and the sky is lit in a deep, rich, glowing blue by its fading rays. It is the time for capturing particularly intense and atmospheric pictures and this physical phenomenon also appears for a brief moment before sunrise and transports landscapes, buildings, plants, and people into a magical world of their own.
Leica would like to invite you to share one of your most unique images taken during blue hour, with the Leica Fotopark Community.
- Upload your favourite blue hour picture to Leica Fotopark with the title #BlueHour by 16 July 2015 and take part in Leica’s competition.
Prizes:
- After the closing deadline, the pictures will be rated and three winning photos will be chosen and displayed in the Leica Store in Wetzlar.
- In addition, the photographer of the picture awarded first place will be sent their photo as a framed 60 × 40 cm print.

Should your picture be selected as one of the winning images, your participation in the competition automatically gives Leica the right to publish your name and your picture and to use them in the press and other media.
