Leica’s Seasonal Greetings Card Design

Instead of looking for a picture to illustrate our Season´s Greetings card for the New Year ourselves, we have decided to let you participate in the designing of the card.
Our friends from LFI have designed a gallery on which you can post you best Season´s Greetings picture – the one that you think will illustrate Leica’s best wishes for the New Year. To do that, you should register at the LFI gallery first.
The picture can be in colour or black and white, must be in landscape format and be taken with a Leica camera. Of course the card should work throughout the world, which means that chosen subjects should not be too overtly religious. The original should be available 20x30cm in 300dpi; the version visible on the internet will not be at this definition and thus not suitable for illegal use from third parties.
The competition runs until midnight GMT on November 2nd, 2009.
Leica will decide on the winning picture and the judges decision if final.
This picture will be printed on Leica’s Season´s Greetings Card and used worldwide and will feature the name of the photographer.
In addition the winning photographer will receive a prize of a LEICA D-Lux 4.
