If you have been paying for an agency to list your local business in their “directory,” you don’t have to do that anymore. Google, with its free Local Business Center, has probably just decimated an entire business category in one fell swoop.
By listing your local business in Google, you control what people see when they search for for your business. You can easily add videos and photos of your store items, opening hours, payment options, and even add coupons to attract new customers. Of course, Google provides you with lots of analytics to see exactly who’s searching for you, how they are finding you and where they are coming from. Are your customers travelling across town to visit your store or restaurant? Open another one closer to them!
