MeFOTO™ Introduces DayTrip Super Compact Tripod Kit
Available in 8 colors, the colorful DayTrip tripod will fit inside a messenger bag
North White Plains, NY – August 5, 2013 – MeFOTO™ today announced the availability of DayTrip, a super compact travel tripod kit that provides photographers with camera support allowing them to make sharp photos, time-lapse photographs and long exposures for creative low-light photography or even special effects. Photographers can choose from 8 available colors: gold, blue, green, red, titanium, purple, orange and black.
The new MeFOTO DayTrip uses reverse folding legs allowing it to fold up to less than 10 inches and extend to 24 inches while only weighing 1.8 pounds, making it compact enough to fit inside a messenger bag, if desired. The DayTrip is compatible with a range of cameras from point-and-shoot to Digital Single-Lens Reflex (DSLR) models. Each DayTrip kit includes a single action ballhead with a weight capacity of 8.8 pounds. Additionally each DayTrip also includes a carrying case a nd shoulder strap for easy transport.
“The DayTrip is our most compact model to-date and it allows people to take a tripod with them everywhere,” said Brian Hynes, MeFOTO’s product marketing manager. “Our goal was to make a good looking colorful tripod that would be easy to carry around and that could be used in places larger tripods wouldn’t be able to.”
Aluminum alloy material is utilized extensively in the construction of these tripods to take advantage of cast, forged and CNC machining techniques, all accentuated by an elegant series of robust surface treatments accented with color.
