The Polaroid picture has always fascinated photographers with its unique presentation format and you can still buy film via the IMPOSSIBLE project. But you don’t need to spend a fortune on instant film to have that instant satisfaction of having your own pictures “mementonized” as a Polaroid picture.
Mementonizer is a free online app that takes a URL (where your picture is), allows you to add some text and then convert it into a nice Polaroid-looking picture. The image size is kind of small but perfect for those low resolution phone pictures. In fact, mementonize them and gain fame like Associated Press photographer David Guttenfelder did.
