Mercedes Invisible Car

From mashable

Mercedes demonstrated its upcoming hydrogen Fuel Cell vehicle by making its car (mini-van) invisible! The invisibility was achieved by placing a mat of LEDs across one side of the vehicle and mounting a Canon 5D Mark II on the other side. The camera was set to shoot video and displayed the live view on the other side of the car on the LED, achieving the cloaking effect. I can’t believe they actually drove the mini-van on the road. I don’t think the “safety” angle was well thought out. Also, I was sure there was a mention of fuel cell somewhere. Oh, well… cool cloaking effect!
