Come climb aboard the world famous Bluebell Railway in East Sussex for an afternoon of photographic inspiration, captivating sights and sensations as we travel back to the golden age of steam railway.
The Olympus event, ‘Full Steam Ahead’ on August 4 @ 13:00 – 17:00 with Olympus photographer Derek Forss at The Bluebell Railway, Sheffield Park Station East Sussex TN22 3QL United Kingdom, includes the following highlights:
- The rare opportunity to try out the latest Olympus equipment while photographing engines and period carriages.
- There will be a selection of OM-D bodies and M.Zuiko lenses available to try on the day if you wish. Please feel free to bring along your own camera equipment whatever make or model.
- Also, you will meet editorial staff from Steam Railway magazine, who will be publishing a selection of photographs from the day as part of a gallery feature. In fact, a winning shot from the event will not only bag you an Olympus OM-D camera kit but also appear in the Steam Railway 2016 Calendar.
- Travel with Olympus down the line between Sheffield Park & Horsted Keynes stations.
- Arriving back at Sheffield Park, the event concludes with afternoon tea.
Places at the event are limited and subject to availability. Tickets will be allocated randomly, no purchase necessary.

- Those under the age of 18 wishing to attend the Event must have full permission from a parent or guardian and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the day.

Any and all photographs, videos, or other recorded material may be used by Olympus for the purpose of marketing or advertising while observing the following points:
- Usage of photographs, videos, or other recorded material is non-exclusive, attendees will retain copyright.
- Photographs, videos, or other recorded material can be used to promote the competition, but no other purpose.
- Photographs, videos, or other recorded material may be used to promote recurrences of a similar event in perpetuity.
- That in addition to reproduction of the photographs, videos, or other recorded material via the social media and exhibitions, promotion of events can include the reproduction of material in a book or calendar, but not both, plus posters and postcards.
- All photographs, videos, or other recorded material will be credited when used.
- Attendees are not required to waive their moral rights in respect of their submissions.
- Photographs, videos, or other recorded material will be preserved in all material.
- For any usage of photographs, videos, or other recorded material in addition to the above permitted usages a license will be negotiated with the creator independently of the event.
- Photographs/video taken on the day may feature ticket holders, and by agreeing to our terms and conditions upon ticket receipt, you agree to allow these images to be used by Olympus….
- Ticket holders are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation needs unless otherwise stated, and are expected to arrive in good time to start the event….
- In the event of any damages caused by participants to property or equipment in use by Olympus, except by fair wear and tear, the ticket holder will be charged the full replacement cost.
