Olympus PEN Your Short 48 Hour Film Contest Winners Announced

From getolympus

Bujin Productions’ Running Colors, a film by Austin and Maitland Lottimer, is the Grand Prize Winner of the Olympus PEN Your Short 48 Hour Film Contest at the 2011 Vail Film Festival. During the contest, 19 teams of emerging filmmakers from around the country were challenged to create a film, from start to finish, in a 48-hour timeframe with the powerfully simple Olympus PEN camera and a variety of lenses and accessories. The film also featured the acting of Barclay Lottimer and writer Sophie Sakson.

The Colorado-based five person team, also featuring Sally Brennan, won a cash prize of $5,000, courtesy of Olympus, five Olympus PEN interchangeable lens camera kits, VIP passes to the 2012 Vail Film Festival and a private meet-and-greet with award-winning Hollywood film producer Sandy Moore. The Olympus PEN, which combines pro image quality and high-definition video in a compact camera, has been used to shoot commercials and parts of Hollywood motion pictures.
