One Year Time Lapse in the life of an Oak Tree

Having to wait one year before you can show your time lapse video shows patience and dedication. Not sure how many times Mike Brown went back to the same spot to photograph the same Oak tree, but I counted at least 16 different photos.

It’s in fact a nice project to have: select a scene, mark a spot on the ground for your tripod (easier if you’re taking the picture from your porch or inside the house through a window), set your camera’s lens to wide-angle (or mark down the focal length you used), and then come back at least once a month to take a picture for 12 pictures. Take one picture a week and you’ll end up with 52 pictures. It’s preferable to take each picture at the same time of day.
