PANASONIC ADDS NEW APPLICATIONS TO VIERA CONNECT FOR CANADIAN MARKET
Mississauga, ON (November 21, 2011) – Today, Panasonic Canada Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of new applications now available on all 2011 VIERA Connect1-equipped VIERA HD televisions. Consumers who already own one of these models will be able to receive the new apps through a firmware upgrade, which they will be automatically prompted to complete.

- A digital entertainment service, CinemaNow offers immediate access to premium video content for rental or purchase
- No subscription is required to access content ranging from recently released movies to television shows

- BIGFlix
- A video on demand application from Reliance BIG Entertainment, India’s largest Video-on-Demand service and content aggregator, BIGFlix allows access to thousands of Bollywood and South Asian movies, music video and television shows3
- BIGFlix offers extensive Indian content as well as international titles in more than 13 South Asian and international languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Punjabi.

- WSJ Live offers hours of live news from over 2,000 reporters worldwide
- Application also features original programming as well as access to the extensive video archive of The Wall Street Journal

- The leading social games network for television, PlayJam enables viewers to play hundreds of games against millions of players globally
- PlayJam provides an advanced social tool-set allowing for the creation of complicated games – enticing viewers to return and play again
