Panasonic AU-EVA1 Cinema Camera: Firmware Update Ver. 1.05 (Nov 2, 2017 JST) Provides an Improvement; A Guide of the “Tested EF Lenses” of AU-EVA1

A mini documentary piece on the ancient tradition of scarf dyeing. Some Monogatari as it is called in Japanese, has been practised since the 14th century. A lot of the techniques and tools from that time are still being used today.

The improvement:

  • In “Variable frame rate” mode, irregular video frame sequence may be recorded. This problem is fixed.

The “Tested EF Lenses” of AU-EVA1 guide was also released (Nov 2, 2017 JST):

  • Panasonic tested the EF lenses of Canon, Sigma and Zeiss for the AU-EVA1.
  • These results were obtained from testing in the limited evaluation environment by Panasonic and, thus, they are shown as a guide only at: http://pro-av.panasonic.net/en/eva1/lens/ .
The results are not guaranteed nor supported and might change without notice due to firmware change.
The tested lenses may not work depending on their firmware version. Please check the firmware version of a lens if it is not working correctly.
