Panasonic Interactive ‘Future Mirror’ Uses Your Image to Provide Personal Beauty & Grooming Advice and Tutorials

The following video presents The Future Mirror: A Beautiful Innovation:

Excited about the future of beauty and grooming, Panasonic revealed its interactive mirror at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. The mirror itself has the ability to evaluate consumers’ skin, suggest areas to work on, show how they’ll appear in different lighting and more. The mirror can give makeup tutorials and show what people would look like with various styles of facial hair.

Panasonic’s ‘interactive mirror’ (prototype) can check your skin conditions and provide skin care advice when you simply sit in front of it.

  • Visitors can try virtual makeup and make-up navigation.
  • Men can try on virtual beards and mustaches that suit on the facial contour.

The Future Mirror displays high-contrast, high-definition images and video.

  • This ‘interactive mirror’ is the Panasonic glass that is both a mirror and a display.

It shows transparent overlays on top of the reflective image and is essentially a high-tech cosmetic tool—or at least will be when/if it is released.
