Panasonic Lumix DC-GX9 Review @ Neocamera

Just after its recognition as Best Beginner Mirrorless Digital Camera of 2019, the Panasonic Lumix DC-GX9 got reviewed in-depth at Neocamera! This truly compact camera embodies the mirrorless idea with its high image-quality in a small rangefinder-style body without compromising on controls and convenience such as having both a built-in EVF and LCD that tilts.

The GX9 is built around the a modern 20 megapixels Four-Thirds CMOS sensor mounted on an image-stabilization system which compensates for up to 4 stops over hand-holding by moving the sensor along 5-axis. This sensor is paired with a fast Venus Engine to process full-resolution images at 9 FPS for up to 100 frames and record 4K Ultra-HD video. It calculates focus by reading the sensor at 240Hz and using defocus information to compute distance which speeds up autofocus.

Read the detailed review of the Panasonic Lumix DC-GX9 at Neocamera. The review includes a detailed comparison with the GX8 and explains the reworked Panasonic Micro Four-Thirds lineup of mirrorless digital cameras.
