Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX8 Review @ Neocamera

Panasonic GX8 Review

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX8 brings a new 20 megapixels CMOS sensor to the Micro Four-Thirds system. With a hybrid shutter and ultra-fast read-out, this unique sensor captures full-resolution images at 8 FPS and record 4K Ultra-HD video. It has an expanded shutter-speed range of 1/16000 to 60s plus allows bulb exposures up to 30 minutes.

This mirrorless is built for professional photographers in a weather-sealed body with dual control-dials and high number of controls. It fits in a 2.4 megapixels EVF that tilts and shows 100% coverage at 0.77X magnification. As for the GX7 which predates it, the GX8 is the second Panasonic camera with built-in image-stabilization.
