Panasonic Won 22 iF Design Awards for 2015 – The Highest Number Yet

Hannover, Germany – Panasonic received a total of 22 iF design awards at the 2015 event hosted by iF International Forum Design in Hannover, Germany. A digital single lens mirrorless camera, Space Player(R), wiring device, eneloop batteries, and rechargers were among the winning products. This year, 4,783 products were entered from 53 countries. The 22 awards presented to Panasonic mark the highest number of awards that the company has ever received from the awards event. Panasonic’s designs were highly regarded by the jurors, which consisted of professionals from various countries who conducted stringent examinations.

[About the iF Design Award] The iF design award is one of the most prominent and authoritative international awards in Europe – the cradle of industrial design.
The award hosted by International Forum Design (Hannover) was established in 1953 with the aim of promoting industrial design, and consists of product design, communication design, packaging design, interior architecture and professional concepts. Every year, outstanding designs are selected by leading independent and corporate designers.
