FUJIFILM X Webcam Turns Your X Series or GFX System Mirrorless Cameras Into High Image Quality Webcams

FUJIFILM has released a free software solution that will instantly allow their X Series APS-C mirrorless cameras and GFX System medium-format mirrorless cameras to be used as a webcam for web-conferencing (under certain conditions: see further below).

The solution promises image quality much higher than can be delivered by dedicated webcams. You should be able to use the Film SImulation modes and attach a preferred lens. Unfortunately, the software is currently only PC-based (requires Windows 10), with no indication whether a macOS version is in the works.

You just need to download and install the “FUJIFILM X Webcam” software onto your PC. Then simply connect your PC to your camera via a USB cable, and you can now use your Fujifilm GFX100, GFX 50S, GFX 50R, X-H1, X-Pro2, X-Pro3, X-T2, X-T3 or X-T4 mirrorless camera for web conferencing.
