Fujifilm X-Mount Lens Roadmap

Fujifilm needs to pay special attention to its Super Telephoto Zoom lens if it ever wants to play in the pro sports arena. Currently, we see only Nikon and Canon DSLRs, equipped with their respective Super Telephoto Zoom lenses, at these pro sports events. Nothing less than a focal length of 600mm (equiv.) is required to bring the action close. A 2x teleconverter would be helpful. It’s too bad that Fujifilm is not considering a fast fixed-focal length but the Super Telephoto Zoom lens should be high-end to produce sharp, detailed and high resolution pictures. It should be image stabilized and have a maximum aperture of f/2.8 that remains constant throughout the zoom range. Oh, and also dust and weather-resistant.
